Strategic bonds 'most popular investment'

Wednesday, 01 December 2010 12:00

Consumers are most likely to opt for a strategic bond when investing their money, it has been noted.

According to the Fair Investment Company, the products accounted for 30 per cent of outlay that went through the company’s funds service between January and October this year.

Head of pensions and investments at the firm Nick Scarrett stated the deals are popular because they have been providing individuals with a mix of good returns.

“We have seen so many investors opt for this type of product purely because of the fact that they are yielding a high income,” he observed, adding they have been offering a more than satisfactory level of capital growth in recent times.
