The Children’s Mutual has a launched a website providing cashback rewards for parents when they buy baby products.

CTFCashback.co.uk is a free-to-use site which allows shoppers to build up cash in £10 increments which they can place directly into a bank account or Child Trust Fund with the Children’s Mutual.

It links to over 1,000 retailers who offer cashback at varying rates. Halfords, for example, gives three per cent cashback for the purchase of new car seats and Asda home delivery pays £5 cashback for new customers.

The average British parent spends £3,383 decorating a new nursery, and a further £605 on prams, buggies and car seats.

However, The Children’s Mutual calculated this could earn financial rewards of £215 by shopping through its new site.

Tony Anderson, marketing director at The Children’s Mutual, said: “All parents quickly realise buying everything they need and want for their children can be an expensive business.

“We created our CTF Cashback site to assist parents in getting great value for money on all their purchases, whilst being able to save towards their child’s future.”
