Endsleigh is urging undergraduates to make sure their belongings are covered while living in halls of residence.

The student insurer offers a halls insurance package, which can include 24 hour laptop and mobile phone replacement and up to £3,000 worth of contents cover.

A recent poll by the insurance provider revealed that six in 10 Brits own a laptop, with a quarter of them using multiple electronic devices.

It also found that a third of students have been the victim of a crime during the past 12 months.

Endsleigh offers a range of insurance policies for students, covering everything from contents, musical instruments, bicycles and cars.

Other student insurance cover options include tuition fees and coursework, keys, and sports injury and equipment.

Students can make a one-off payment or pay monthly for bundles at no extra cost, the insurer said.
