Broadband users unhappy with ISPs

Monday, 10 January 2011 12:00

Many broadband users in the UK are unhappy with their current internet service provider (ISP), it has been revealed.

Research by ISPreview.co.uk found 45 per cent were dissatisfied and almost one third plan to swap ISP this year.

The survey indicated 36 per cent of consumers rate their internet connection as 'poor'.

"It's deeply disappointing to see that consumer satisfaction with mainstream ISPs is still so extremely low," said ISPreview.co.uk's founder Mark Jackson.

He added it is clear firms need to work much harder to keep their customers happy.
