Broadband bundles

Monday, 06 September 2010 12:00

When it comes to selecting a broadband package you will often find that suppliers attempt to offer you other home media services – such as digital television and home telephone lines – at the same time.

Such deals are often known as broadband bundles and allow you to combine a broadband service with a landline or a digital TV service from the likes of Sky and Virgin Media.

Alternatively you can package all three services into a single broadband bundle. By doing this you may be able to take advantage of special promotional offers such as a free router or a discounted introductory rate.

Opting for a broadband bundle from a single provider can often save you a significant amount of money than if you were to take out internet, telephone and television services from three separate firms.

Doing so can also be much more convenient, as should you need to get in touch with a supplier about making any changes to your subscription – perhaps you would like to receive additional channels or upgrade your broadband speed – you only have to contact one company.
