An ultimate reward current account offered by the Bank of Scotland has been voted Best Premium Current Account at the Personal Finance Awards for 2010/11.

It is the second year in a row the lender has been recognised for its product, which offers customers features such as worldwide travel and mobile insurance, in addition to breakdown cover.

The public cast over 6,000 votes in the ceremony that identifies the best financial services companies in the UK.

Mike Regnier, personal current account director at the institution, said he was delighted the bank had picked up the accolade for the second time.

“To receive this Award from customers once more is simply fantastic,” he stated.
