Adrian Flux expands car club insurance

Adrian Flux has increased its public liability insurance for car clubs to cover any possessions taken to motoring events.

The insurance provider launched its club public liability (PL) insurance, which is aimed at car clubs when they take part in shows and events, earlier this year.

By expanding the plan to cover ‘business all risk’ it means the scheme now also protects merchandise such as t-shirts, plus and stands, graphics or flags.

Julie Carter of Flux, said: “Together they can add up to a lot of value but often they are not insured, so it made sense to expand Flux PL.”

It covers car clubs’ assets against accidental loss or damage in, what Flux describes as, just about any eventuality.

This could include storms, floods, fire or falling trees. It also covers theft, other than from unattended vehicles.

Policies start at £110 per year, for up to £1 million public liability cover and £2,500 worth of club assets.
