Earn 7.5% interest on savings account with Britannia Building Society

Britannia Building Society has released a new regular savings account paying 7.5% interest.
The 1-year fixed-rate regular saver from Britannia will pay 7.5% interest for 12 months if people invest between £25 and £250 a month.
These monthly payments amount cannot be amended if savers want to benefit from the headline interest rate.
The account can be opened by cheque or cash, with subsequent monthly payments made by direct debit.
Withdrawals cannot be made in the 12 months of the fixed term without an interest-rate penalty.
Interest is paid annually on anniversary of account opening and is added back to account only.
