Friday, 21 Nov 2008 12:03
Coventry Intermediaries has launched a new range of offset mortgages with fixed rates starting at 5.49 per cent.

It is highlighting its best buy rates including a 10-year offset mortgage, which has the 5.49 per cent rate, a fee of £199 and is available for loan-to-value (LTV) ratios of 65 per cent.

It is also promoting the fee-free three-year offset loan which has a rate of 5.84 per cent and is for LTVs of 65 per cent.

Both mortgages come with free valuation and mortgage transfer service.

Meanwhile Coventry Intermediaries has also launched a new first-time buyer mortgage with a LTV of 90 per cent. The five-year fixed-rate product has an interest rate of 6.99 per cent and a £199 booking fee.

Colin Franklin, head of sales at the Coventry, said: "I'm sure the combination of offset functionality, free valuation and free legal fees for remortgage customers will prove to be attractive to many customers.

"These products enable customers to take advantage of the low interest rate environment and secure a fixed-rate mortgage, providing them with peace of mind should interest rates rise in future years."
