Godiva: Lifetime mortgage for 6.10%

Friday, 21 Nov 2008 11:13
A new range of lifetime mortgages is available from Godiva Mortgages including a loan with a 6.10 per cent fixed rate.

The mortgages are being sold through Coventry Intermediaries and are available today.

Godiva is highlighting, among the new offerings, a best-buy rate for customers aged 70 or over of 6.10 per cent fixed for term. This is a lump-sum product.

There are also other lump sum and drawdown mortgages available which are free of early repayment charges (ERC).

Colin Franklin, managing director of Godiva Mortgages, said: "We are one of the few providers to offer ERC-free lifetime mortgage products.

"This is unique to the lifetime mortgage market and offers complete flexibility to the borrower. We are confident that intermediaries and their clients will like what we are offering."
