Cheap travel insurance from the Post Office

Tuesday, 10 Jul 2007 09:53
Between July 2 and August 31 the Post Office is making annual travel insurance multi-trip policies £10 cheaper.

Single-trip Post Office travel insurance policies for six days or longer will be reduced cut by £5 per person.

Post Office travel insurance policies are available for cover in Europe or worldwide.

"The amount of people who have admitted to going on holiday with any cover at all is extremely alarming," said Post Office head of travel Kevin McAdam.

"But something as commonplace as a lost bag or visit to a doctor abroad could see a person shelling out hundreds of pounds if they don’t have insurance. Why take the risk?"

People buying Post Office travel insurance online also receive another10% discount through the Post Office website (www.postoffice.co.uk).
