Norwich Union offers gym deals

Friday, 14 Dec 2007 09:15
Norwich Union Healthcare is launching a gym membership discount deal.

Customers on the insurer's Private Medical Insurance, Group Income Protection and Occupational Health policies will be able to receive money off gym membership.

The deal is with gym finder website Health Force and offers discounted rates of between 15 and 40 per cent at a number of clubs including the LA Fitness and Harpers chains.

Rachel Marsh, at Norwich Union Healthcare, said: "The launch of the gym membership discount scheme supports our strategy to be a leading provider of healthcare solutions.

"It gives us a competitive offering and adds tangible value for our customers at no additional cost to them. It also helps meet corporate customer needs to reduce sickness and absence by encouraging employees to look after their health."

Norwich Union Healthcare provides a range of private medical insurance, income protection, occupational health and group life products and services and has some 2.4 million customers.
