Barclays launched 2nd year home insurance price guarantee

Tuesday, 01 May 2007 17:09
Barclays has launched a 2nd year price guarantee on its home insurance.

Last year Barclays announced that if it could not offer a cheaper home insurance deal than your current renewal cost for switching to Barclays, it would drop its prices by up to £100 and give customers £50.

This year Barclays has extended the renewal guarantee, promising customers a cheaper quote in their second year as well.

"In only our second year in the market we have managed to once again shake up the home insurance industry which is great news for consumers," said Mark Till, marketing director for Barclays Insurance.

"After the launch of last year’s price guarantee many of our competitors had to copy the offer to keep up and we fully expect the same to happen following the launch of our renewal guarantee this year."
