Monday, 10 Nov 2008 14:35
A reader from the US wants to know if she can borrow from a UK bank.

Tony Davis, myfinances.co.uk mortgage expert from Mortgage Meadow, takes her through the problem and what it means to her finances.

Tamara from Kingston asks:

Can someone in the US use a British bank to remortgage?

Tony replies:

Unless the UK bank operates in the States, then it is not possible.

I am not aware of UK lender that offers this facility.
